• Whether you are an experience Mountain Biker or just enjoy the pleasure of cycling and want to ride through some spectacular scenery, at whatever pace you wish to dictate, this is an Adventure weekend not to be missed!
   

• You will be escorted on the ride by an experienced Guide, who has an extensive knowledge of Mountain Bike routes and the local countryside. Your guide, Colin, is an experienced, fully qualified, O.T.C. trained Mountain Bike Leader.
   
• Our Routes are dominated by Lakes, Forests and Mountains. So the terrain is a mixture of flat tracks and undulations. Steeper challenges available for the fitter and more experienced Mountain Biker.
   
• We cater for groups of between 2—10 cyclists and try to keep to groups of similar ability. In a mixed group , the route and pace will be kept to the level of the least experienced or least fit! (at that point in time!!)
   
• We have : Beginner - Novice - Intermediate - Advanced Groups
   
• On a “Normal” Weekend Guests would arrive on the Friday evening and the first Ride would start out after breakfast on Saturday. This would last approx. 4 - 5 hours (incl. Lunch stop). Some routes will have a Pub on route for a bar lunch, alternatively we can provide a packed lunch.

• The 2nd day is a “Fun” Cycling day and we can organise either a guided 3 to 4 hour ride, or optionally a Trail Quest (Orienteering) or a Scenic Treasure Hunt. Usually 3 - 4 hours cycling. (Lunch stop optional) this is usually an ideal Breakaway time for those with a long homeward journey.

• We also own Keswick Riding & Cycle Hire Centre (close by) for Partners, who may wish to bring
  their Horse/Pony with them for the weekend.
   
  • The Guest House Proprietor is a Fully Qualified B.H.S. Intermediate Instructor / Eventer
    and is available for lessons on your own horse, if you require.
