rooms are tastefully furbished
and have
Mira "Power" showers, loo and vanity
basin.Tea & coffee-making facilities, TV’s
hairdryers,
shaver-point, clock and central heating.
All rooms have
lovely views of the
surrounding mountains
and countryside.
Our
Standard
Single room (not pictured)
has
everything the En-suite
rooms
have, with the exception of the Shower & loo.
There is, however, a separate
en-suite Shower room with loo + a separate loo, for the use of guests
who book the single room.
DOGS are welcome in the Guest house by prior arrangement

The
view from the Front Rooms of the house looks across to Walla Crag (on the
skyline, to your
left) and the “mound” of trees, behind the houses, is Castlehead.
Castlehead is supposed to be an extinct
"Volcanic Plug". It boasts fantastic panoramic
views, from it's summit, across Derwentwater Lake & down Borrowdale Valley.
You can see past Portinscale to Bassenthwaite Lake. The Best bit is
that you can be at the top within 1/2 hour Perfect for an "Evening
Stroll."
 The views from the back of
the house look to the Skiddaw range, at 3000ft it’s the 4th highest
mountain in England.
